Governor Punjab Salim Haider has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has patriotic people while unity with the government is our compulsion.
Speaking in a private TV program, he said that after taking the oath, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz should have come to the Governor House, but keeping the tradition of Punjab, I went to meet Maryam Nawaz myself. I never said that I would not meet the Chief Minister of Punjab.
He said thatthe People’s Party wants political stability in the country and compliance with promises. We are allies and moving together but we are being forced. We supported the Federation in every matter. Unity with the government is our compulsion. And the People’s Party always prioritized the country’s interests. We did not put the vote but the country first.
He said that the People’s Party will remain united with PML-N till the end because the biggest constraint of the People’s Party is Pakistan and Pakistan is PPP and PML-N. He said that Maryam Nawaz is doing a good job as Chief Minister of Punjab. And Maryam Nawaz has started the best projects. The failure of Maryam Nawaz as Chief Minister will be the failure of Pakistan. We never want Maryam Nawaz not to perform as Chief Minister.
