PTI protest: Cattle killed due to road closure, supply of eggs and vegetables

Due to the closure of the roads in many cities of the country, many kilometers of queues of vehicles have formed on the border of Sindh and Punjab, and there was a fear of damage to the goods loaded in the vehicles.

According to media reports, the daily supply of 4 million eggs from Kamalia has stopped while ten cattle have died in vehicles stuck for two days. They have reached the sky, triple century of tomato and double century of onion has been achieved.

The prices of chicken meat have also been increased in Lahore, there is a fear of running out of petrol and diesel stocks in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Due to the closure of entry and exit routes in many cities of Punjab including Sialkot, the price of tomato has reached 700 rupees. Fruits could not reach the market, due to which profiteers made vegetables and fruits more expensive.

It has been learned that tomatoes, which were sold at Rs 120 per kg, are selling at Rs 700 per kg, green chillies at Rs 400 per kg, cauliflower at Rs 300 per kg, potatoes at Rs 220 per kg and onions at Rs 250 per kg, similarly. Prices of other vegetables have also been increased by Rs 100 to Rs 150 per kg. Citizens are forced to buy vegetables at high prices.

President of All Pakistan Anjuman Tajran, Ajmal Baloch, while addressing a press conference, said that at present there is chaos in the whole country due to which people are worried, industries are closed due to the closure of roads, the business wheel has stopped due to which the business community has also stopped. is worried

They say that the containers used to deliver goods are lying on the roads across the country, it has become impossible to get medicines to many medical stores, it has become impossible for patients to access hospitals, people are dying in ambulances but they also have no way out. It is not being given, due to this chaos there is also a fear of food shortages across the country, a political solution to the chaos in the country should be found.

On the same issue, Central President of Pakistan Transport Council Tanveer Ahmad Jat says that the police have been holding thousands of loaded containers and trucks for 4 days to block the road. The trucks are loaded with medicines, vegetables, fruits, electronics and import-export goods. If our load containers and trucks are looted by the angry protesters, the government will be responsible.

He said that load containers and trucks can cause any major accident, the government should use the state institutions and resources to block the roads, the goods transport sector has already been destroyed due to the wrong policies of the government. Prime Minister, taking pity on the transporters and drivers, release the containers, if our containers and trucks are not released, we will be forced to take a tough decision.

Also, the president of All Pakistan Public Transport Owners Federation says that we are not related to any political party but our bus stations have been closed for 4 days, the transporters are facing serious problems, we have lost crores of rupees, the government or the administration has not No one has contacted us yet.
