Foreign Nationals' Participation In Political Protests In Pakistan Is Completely Illegal: Ministry Of Foreign Affairs

Foreign Office Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, stated that the participation of foreign nationals in political protests in Pakistan is entirely illegal. She urged all foreigners to stay away from Pakistan’s political matters. Mumtaz Zahra Baloch also mentioned that the Ministry of Information could comment on the circumstances surrounding the arrest of journalist Matiullah Jan.

During the weekly media briefing in Islamabad, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Afghan citizens have been arrested due to protests in Islamabad, the details of the arrested Afghan citizens will be released by the Ministry of Interior. It is completely illegal for foreign nationals to participate in political protests in Pakistan.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that the Ministry of Information can comment on the circumstances under which journalist Mutiullah Jan was arrested.

The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that there is no negotiation between the government of Pakistan and the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban, the negotiation with the TTP is against the families affected by terrorism.

He said that Pakistan wants good relations with all countries, better relations with one country does not mean bad relations with other countries. He added that it is not appropriate to comment on the Israeli leadership’s statement regarding Iran’s nuclear weapons.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that Pakistan strongly condemns the ongoing atrocities in Palestine and calls on the international community to hold Israel accountable for its aggression and genocide. She reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people. Baloch also welcomed the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon and demanded an unconditional ceasefire in Palestine.

The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that India continues to violate human rights in Occupied Kashmir, and Pakistan will continue its political, moral, and diplomatic support to Kashmiris.
