The proceedings of the new election tribunal for 3 constituencies of Islamabad have been postponed for an indefinite period.
The new Islamabad Election Tribunal started functioning after 5 months from December 18 and issued notices to the parties. The Election Tribunal had issued notices to all the parties for December 24.
In the New Election Tribunal, a copy of the injunction order of the Islamabad High Court was submitted on behalf of Ali Bukhari and others. Justice Tariq Jahangiri held the last hearing at the Election Tribunal in July. Justice Retired Shakur Pracha started proceedings as the new Election Tribunal on December 18. 3 candidates of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Ali Bukhari, Amir Mughal, and Shoaib Shaheen have obtained an injunction.
