ISLAMABAD: It has been revealed that records of financial irregularities have disappeared during the PTI era.
In this regard, the Public Accounts Committee has directed to investigate the loss of records in its report.
According to the report, street lights worth 121 million rupees from Metro Corporation Lahore were purchased without Tinder, the purchase record was not submitted to the audit department.
According to the report, the plan to install streetlights was not even entered in the record register.
In this regard, the report states that Metro Corporation Lahore made illegal purchases in the financial year 2019-20.
