The Pakistan ODI squad for the tri-series and the Champions Trophy is expected to be announced at the end of the second Multan Test.
Sources say that the national selectors have completed all the consultations, and the squad will be announced with the approval of the Chairman PCB.
Some changes are expected in the ODI squad to be played against South Africa, Saeem Ayub is unlikely to join the squad due to injury.
Sources have said that Fakhar Zaman, Khushdil Shah, and Saud Shakeel are likely to join the team, while the names of Abbas Afridi and Aamir Jamal were considered.
Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Salman Agha, and Kamran Ghulam will join the squad.
Apart from them, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Abrar Ahmed will also be a part of the squad.
It should be noted that the tri-series will start on February 8, while the Champions Trophy will start on February 19.
