Lahore: Pakistan Railways has decided to outsource seven more trains to the private sector.
According to officials, the trains that will be outsourced include Hazara, Karachi, Bahauddin Zakaria, and Sukkur Express. It has also been decided to outsource Moen Jodo and Rawalpindi passenger trains.
Due to the delay in the preparation of the documents, the date of recovery has been extended.
According to railway officials, these trains will not be given private ownership. Rather, they will be handed over to the private sector to improve the facilities for the passengers and increase the income.
The financial and technical bodies of 7 passenger trains will be received on February 25. And the financial bodies of qualifying firms in technical bodies will be opened.
