National Women’s Cricket Team Head Coach Mohammad Wasim has said that the win against Thailand is the result of teamwork, the team has performed well in every department.
Talking to the media, Mohammad Wasim said, “In this event we have achieved a lot of positive things. Our job is to play, wherever cricket will play.
He said that today’s condition was difficult, so played a little, we won the match against Thailand with a good margin, our next goal is to improve the strike rate.
According to the head coach, today we have tried our bench Strang, Lahore’s weather is hot, the players’ workloads have to be seen.
Mohammad Wasim said, “It was our goal to qualify, when I took office, the team had to play the qualification. We were preparing the World Cup, not for the qualifying round.”
The head coach said that I was convinced that we would win in the qualifying round, the format of fifty overs suits us, we want our match, in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Dubai or Gaddafi, we have to play cricket.
He concluded by mentioning that two venues are being discussed for the World Cup so far. “We aim not just to reach the semi-final, but to play the final and win it.”
