A tragic accident occurred in Gilgit-Baltistan, where a passenger vehicle plunged into a river. The car was carrying nine people, including the driver. Two young men managed to swim to safety, while the remaining seven individuals are still missing.

According to rescue officials, the strong and dangerous river currents are making the search efforts extremely difficult, but the operation to locate the missing persons is ongoing.

It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred just a day earlier in the Nagar district of Gilgit-Baltistan, where a wedding party’s vehicle fell into a river, resulting in the loss of precious lives.
