In response to the rising threat of terrorism, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari delivered a clear and powerful message. During a press conference in Islamabad, the PPP Chairman warned that the state must take decisive steps to counter the growing terrorism in Pakistan.

He stressed that no compromise should be made with those who promote extremism, and urged political parties to set aside differences and unite for national security.

Bilawal Bhutto on Growing Terrorism: “Zero Tolerance Required”

Bilawal Bhutto said that militant organizations are trying to regroup, using digital platforms and foreign support to spread fear. He called this a national security emergency and said that every citizen and institution must play a role in eliminating this threat.

“We will not allow anyone to destabilize Pakistan again,” he said, adding that zero tolerance for terrorism must be a national policy, not a political slogan.

National Reforms Urged by Bilawal Bhutto

In his address, Bilawal proposed several key reforms:

  • Strengthening NACTA and national intelligence sharing

  • Speedy justice system for terrorism-related cases

  • Legislative updates to counter hybrid warfare tactics

  • Political accountability to avoid alliances with extremists

Call for Unity and Action

The Bilawal Bhutto on growing terrorism message resonated with many politicians and analysts who supported the idea of stronger internal unity. Analysts noted that his focus on national security aligns with public concerns after recent incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
