Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held an important meeting in Tehran with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during which they discussed bilateral relations, cooperation, and challenges facing the Muslim Ummah.
Naqvi congratulated the Iranian President on a great victory in the recent conflict, praising the courage, strategy, and unity shown by Iran’s Supreme Leader and the nation, calling it a source of pride for the entire Muslim world.
He emphasized that Pakistan strongly condemned the attack on Iran at every forum and expressed unwavering solidarity. He also conveyed Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s message of goodwill and respect to the Iranian President and people.
President Pezeshkian described Pakistan’s support as historic and commendable, stating that Iran will never forget how Pakistan stood by them during the conflict.
He stressed that the Zionist regime is actively trying to create discord among Muslim countries, and only Islamic unity and harmony can counter these efforts. He added that if Muslim governments truly understand the importance of unity, they can build an effective front against Zionist conspiracies.
The Iranian President expressed satisfaction with the current Pakistan-Iran bilateral ties and expressed a desire to further strengthen them.
