The Chief of the General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces, General Fayyad bin Hameed Al-Ruwaili, visited the General Headquarters and held a meeting with Field Marshal Asim Munir.
According to the ISPR, the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Both sides emphasized the need to further strengthen the long-standing and strategic military cooperation between the two countries, highlighting the importance of enhanced defense collaboration, security coordination, and counterterrorism efforts.
General Fayyad bin Hameed Al-Ruwaili appreciated Pakistan’s cooperation with the Saudi Armed Forces in various sectors and expressed his commitment to advancing the strong partnership between the two nations.
Upon his arrival at GHQ, the Saudi Chief of General Staff laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument, while a contingent of the Pakistan Army presented him with a guard of honor.
