Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Mr. Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China, during which both sides expressed satisfaction over the steady and positive progress in bilateral relations between Pakistan and China.
According to details, the meeting focused on further strengthening party-to-party contacts, exchanging views on regional and global issues, and reviewing the progress of various projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
During the discussion, both leaders described the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor as a key pillar of bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to accelerating the implementation of ongoing projects for mutual benefit.
Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar congratulated Mr. Liu Haixing on the successful convening of the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and conveyed his best wishes for China’s continued development and stability.
The two sides also agreed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China in a befitting and dignified manner, with a series of events and activities planned for the occasion.
Both sides reaffirmed their resolve to further expand the Pakistan-China strategic partnership and elevate bilateral cooperation to new heights in the coming years.
