Karachi: The resignation of K-Electric Chief Executive Officer Moonis Alvi has been officially accepted, while the former CEO’s video statement has also been released.
The board of directors of K-Electric has approved the resignation of Moonis Alvi and informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange of this decision. The company has informed that the process of selecting a new CEO will be completed on February 10.
Meanwhile, in a video statement by the resigned CEO, Moonis Alvi, he said that the improvement of the organization has always been his top priority and this decision has been made after thorough consideration so that the company can continue its journey of growth.
Moonis Alvi said that K-Electric now needs a new vision and fresh thinking, while the decision on the appointment of a new CEO will be taken by the Board of Directors. According to him, this phase will be completed soon and the appointment will be carried out in the best possible manner.
He further said that he will leave K-Electric after the new CEO joins and the formal transfer of powers. He said that the real strength of K-Electric is its employees, the foundations of the organization are strong and the journey of growth will continue in the future.
