Pakistan cricket team all-rounder Shadab Khan has expressed confidence that the team’s objective is not merely to reach the semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup but to advance all the way to the final, and the players are entering the field with that determination.
In a video circulating on social media, a journalist asked him whether the team would limit itself to the semi-final stage. In response, Shadab Khan confidently stated that the team’s aim is not just to reach the semi-final but to play in the final, and that they are working hard to achieve this goal.
It is worth noting that in a crucial match of the tournament, Pakistan suffered a 61-run defeat against the Indian national cricket team, which increased pressure on the side in the standings.
Pakistan will play its final group-stage match against Namibia on February 18. The match has gained significant importance, as Pakistan must win it at all costs to secure a place in the Super Eight stage, and any setback could jeopardize its chances of advancing further in the tournament.
