Gold prices in Pakistan have recorded a noticeable decline, resulting in lower rates in bullion markets across the country and providing some relief to buyers.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola in the country decreased by 6500 rupees, bringing the new rate down to 533362 rupees.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also declined by 5573 rupees and now stands at 457271 rupees, reflecting an overall downward trend in the local bullion market.
Meanwhile, prices in the international market also moved lower, where gold fell by 65 dollars per ounce and is now trading at 5106 dollars per ounce. The decline in global prices is also being reflected in Pakistan’s local market.
