Karachi: Mai Kolachi and MT Khan Roads have been closed to traffic due to security concerns.
According to the traffic police, the roads leading to and from Boat Basin, Jinnah Bridge and Mai Kolachi have been closed to traffic, while both directions from PIDC to Jinnah Bridge and MT Khan Road are also closed.
Police say that traffic coming from Boat Basin towards Mai Kolachi is being diverted by making a U-turn, while traffic coming from PIDC towards Jinnah Bridge is being diverted towards Khajur Chowk. Similarly, vehicles coming from Jinnah Bridge are being diverted towards II Chandrigarh Road.
Traffic police have instructed citizens to take alternative routes due to road closures.
