Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has resumed bowling after recovering from fitness issues, boosting his chances of selection for the upcoming World Cup.
Rauf began bowling at the National Cricket Academy, where the medical panel conducted a detailed assessment of his fitness and performance. Following the evaluation, he has been declared fit for World Cup selection.
It is worth noting that Haris Rauf suffered fitness issues during the Asia Cup match against India, where he experienced discomfort in his ribs and was unable to continue at full capacity.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board stated that Naseem Shah’s injury is being closely monitored, and medical experts are being consulted for his recovery. A final decision regarding his return to cricket will be made based on medical reports.
With only 14 days remaining until the ICC World Cup begins, several top teams, including Pakistan, are facing fitness concerns among players, and challenges are increasing as the tournament approaches.
