Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated in Islamabad that US Vice President and other senior officials arriving in Pakistan for negotiations will be welcomed as special guests.
Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with US Ambassador Natalie Baker, during which the current situation in the Middle East was discussed in detail.
On the occasion, the US Ambassador welcomed the ceasefire and appreciated Pakistan’s strong diplomatic role, while discussions were also held regarding the upcoming talks in Islamabad.
Naqvi stated that US Vice President J.D. Vance, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner will be treated as special guests, and all arrangements for their reception are being finalized.
He further added that a comprehensive and foolproof security plan has been prepared to ensure the safety of visiting delegations and the smooth conduct of the negotiations.
