Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has stated that following the increase in petroleum prices, the Sindh government has introduced a monthly subsidy of Rs 2,000 for motorcyclists to provide relief to the public and reduce the impact of rising costs.
He said that farmers owning less than 25 acres of land have been properly registered, their data has been collected, and free bags of DAP and urea fertilizers have been provided to support wheat cultivation and boost agricultural productivity.
Sharjeel Inam Memon further stated that recently, more than 300,000 individuals have been given subsidies at the rate of Rs 1,500 per acre for operating threshers, and the funds have already been delivered to the farmers, providing them with financial support.
He added that development work in Shikarpur is ongoing day and night, and free solar systems are also being distributed under public welfare initiatives to address energy issues.
Addressing women, he said that the government is providing free pink scooters to women, encouraging them to come forward and benefit from this facility.
