The Economic Coordination Committee of the federal cabinet has approved the export of donkey meat and hides to China, marking an important development in the country’s trade activities.
The meeting, chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, reviewed various economic matters in detail and made key decisions related to trade and industry.
During the session, the committee expressed satisfaction over the decline in inflation and stability in prices, while also granting permission for the temporary import of vehicles and auto parts to support the sector.
The committee further decided to impose a ban on the import of goods produced through forced labor, aiming to ensure compliance with international standards.
In the same meeting, formal approval was granted for the export of donkey meat and hides to China, which is expected to boost the relevant industry and contribute to an increase in exports.
