The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) caught the smuggling of heroin in potatoes being sent to Sri Lanka.
ANF caught heroin smuggling under the guise of exporting potatoes. According to the spokesperson of ANF, action has been taken at Karachi International Container Terminal.
The spokesman said that 5 kg of heroin was recovered from the container of potatoes being sent to Sri Lanka. Each of the 80 bags contained 1 to 2 heroin-laced potatoes
ANF further informed that through preliminary investigation one accused has been arrested while raids are going on to arrest more accused.
The said container was booked by a private company, the arrested accused has been shifted to ANF Police Station and further investigation has been started.
