In Lahore, temperatures may rise up to 49°C, making it risky to step outside during peak afternoon hours, especially on Monday and Tuesday, when air pollution levels are expected to intensify.
Karachi is likely to experience relatively milder weather, with temperatures ranging from 32°C to 37°C along with coastal winds. This is considered normal for the coastal city, which is expected to remain hot and dry in the coming days.
In Peshawar, the heatwave continues, and the temperature today and throughout next week may exceed normal levels. It is expected to reach up to 53°C today. Citizens are urged to take special precautions to stay safe in this extreme heat.
The Meteorological Department has stated that similar weather conditions will persist throughout the coming week. Extremely hot days, along with hazy sunlight in the morning and evening, and high humidity levels will prevail. No significant weather changes are expected, except for a slight decrease in intensity.
