Mobile data internet services in Quetta remained suspended for the third consecutive day, causing serious difficulties for residents, business owners, and students, while online activities continue to be heavily disrupted.
According to sources, the mobile data service that was suspended on Saturday has yet to be restored, affecting business transactions, educational activities, and daily communication, and adding to public concern.
Meanwhile, railway services from Quetta to other parts of the country and to Chaman also remained suspended for the third consecutive day. The Jaffar Express from Quetta to Peshawar did not depart today as well, causing inconvenience to passengers.
Railway officials said that the passenger train to Chaman was also not operated today due to unavoidable reasons, although no clear timeline for the restoration of services has been announced.
Citizens have expressed concern over the prolonged suspension of mobile internet and train services and have urged the government to ensure immediate restoration so that daily life, business activities, and students’ education are not further affected.
