Measures have been accelerated to ensure an uninterrupted gas supply during the winter season in Sindh and Balochistan, aimed at preventing inconvenience to domestic consumers amid rising demand.
According to Sui Southern Gas Company, the Director General Gas has issued directives to maintain a continuous gas supply from 5 am to 10 pm in both provinces. These instructions are intended to ensure that the essential gas supply to households remains uninterrupted during the cold weather.
The company stated that low-pressure areas will be identified daily during morning briefings, and relevant field teams will be directed to take immediate corrective actions to address pressure-related issues at the earliest.
A company spokesperson said that any negligence or delay in improving gas pressure will result in action against the concerned zonal head. Sui Southern Gas Company emphasized that consumer convenience and system improvement remain its top priorities, adding that field teams are maintaining continuous monitoring in view of increased winter demand.
