President Asif Ali Zardari has taken notice of the increasing electricity load shedding across the country and directed the government to take immediate and effective steps to minimize outages and reduce public hardship.
According to a statement issued by the presidency, the president expressed concern over the current energy situation and instructed the relevant authorities to improve the power supply system so that citizens can receive relief, especially during the summer season.
He emphasized that the government must utilize all available resources to address the energy crisis and implement practical measures that can provide immediate relief to the public.
Along with the power issue, the President also took a firm stance on the water crisis, stressing that Pakistan’s water rights must be protected at all costs, and that necessary diplomatic and legal steps should be taken at the international level without delay.
The President stated that securing energy and protecting water resources are essential for the country’s survival and economic stability, and advised the government to focus on both long-term planning and immediate actions to benefit the general public.
